Dripstone Creations - The Dream and Vision

So here we are. A lingering, constant thought in the back of my mind and I finally decided to take action. I have wanted, and am now currently, beginning my adventure into the game development world.

What experience do I have in this field? None

Why now? I am at a crossroads in my life. I have thought about this for a while and have recently been inspired to just do it. If not now, then when? If not now, then will it ever happen?

Why Dripstone? It may be the fact that I have ventured into many caves lately that it’s on the brain. I believe it is symbolic on how I anticipate this journey. Slow steady drips of knowledge, learning, coding, streaming, learning, building, growing, learning, until eventually something magnificent is made. Much like a stalagmite in a carved out cave.

What is the plan? To foster a community that can be part of this journey with me. Stream our progress in developing a first simple game, from conception, to release. Learn the industry from the ground floor and slowly and continuously improve, with the ultimate goal of releasing a successful game on Steam.

I am excited to jump into this vast sea of unknown and learn and solve problems, and fail and learn, and spend time with others in this field and learn. I plan to develop my skills alongside producing content and games that I hope will allow our community to add their input and actual spin on the games we create. This is a collaborative adventure and I hope to see us grow.
