There are so many advancements in the world of AI, and every day it seems like a new tool is there to help. But how far is too far, specifically when talking about AI art?

All through our website at this point, there is AI generated art. From our preliminary logo, to the random creatures and trees shown in the background. I don’t know the right answer to this question. What used to be someone’s career detailing, and tweaking and designing this images can be done instantly (almost).

However, I do not feel like the current AI art can capture the emotion, tone, exact style repeatedly across many different images at this point. While I have not explored every single AI program at this point, nor am I going to, I feel like it can be a great tool for artists to prepare mock-ups to land on a set style or idea between the developer and artist. It is tough for it to make something truly original as it is always based on existing art that it can find.

Our plan here, at this juncture, is to likely us some AI-generated art in our unreleased, and in-progress developments. I know when testing functionality, I like to see the monsters, the character, some rough environment. It is tough to visualize with a rectangle or square for me. And this is were I feel like we will gain the most usage. Anything released commercially, or when any type of revenue starts being generated, we will look to contract artist-generated works.
